145. Vess 5701 Delwood Dr I love the art that nature creates. Through decay and distress, time and exposure, the very soul of an element is revealed. Concrete cracked and stained; rusted metal posts; shells worked over by the sea until they are stripped down to their essence. Beauty and distinction. Through these things, I feel colors and landscapes. My painting is an attempt to express that natural creation/destruction/creation inherent in life. My work is an outward manifestation of my struggle towards greater awareness. |
