Shady Ln Studio U My work is about responding to my visual and tangible experiences. Each piece is an emotive slice of a story. Beyond what is happening aesthetically, I love the process of creating. During the raw, rough draft phase the initial lines of paint and texture begin to dictate a color rhythm to play with. I enjoy working on large surfaces, quickly and actively. Making a colorful mess early on or having an unresolved under painting provides for good windows of color for the final painting. I never know what the final product will be until I get there. |
