Ginko Studios 800
Gullett St Hi, I am Melanie Schopper. I work with molds and slip to produce a line of functional ceramics called M. Schopper Ceramics. For seven years I studied and worked with clay as an assistant to Sun Yong Chung at Ginko Studios. Currently I hold an artist-in-residence position at The Center for Maximum Potential Building Systems. Each weekend I show at the Sunset Valley Farmer's market. I participate in the annual "Handmade Austin Spring Show" in May (on the weekend before Mother's Day). Additionally you can find my work at Women and Their Work and The Austin Museum of Art. |
