60q. Kristie Koll | Pump Project 702 Shady Ln The freedom to be vulnerable, honest, and raw in my work drives me. I hope to create art that explores and exposes what is hidden within my soul. I feel most alive in this process as I begin to apply layers of paint to create texture and depth. Painting allows me to understand and express things I can't articulate with words. I work mostly with acrylic and charcoal on watercolor paper. I'm from California, studied architecture and history at the University of Oregon, and have lived and worked in Russia, Washington, and Florida and moved to Austin last year. |
