95. John Swanger 701 Tillery St Ste A-6 John Swanger moved to Austin in March 2008 from Los Angeles. For many years he has made series of process-based paintings and works on paper. In various series he explores different materials, concepts, structures and modes of paint application. Chance operations often play a part in guiding the work. His work has been shown in NY at John Weber Gallery, The Gallery at Takashimya and Galerie Lelong. In LA he has shown at Thomas Solomon's Garage, Margo Leavin Gallery and Kiyo Higashi Gallery. |
