Our brains innately seek out pattern and rhythm, finding links between disparate pieces. I am continually exploring the instinctual, intuitive practice of filling gaps between the known and unknown with the connective tissue of meaning. Debra Broz moved from St. Louis to Austin in 2005. She is a ceramics restorer, co-editor of local art magazine Cantanker and operations manager of Pump Project Art Complex where she also has her studio. |
