Long 2106 Willow St Andrew
Long’s work has been widely exhibited including 20 To
Watch (Austin Museum of Art), Paint: Out of Abstraction (Arlington
Museum), as well as commissioned work by Institute of Contemporary
Art (London) and Museum
of Fine Arts (Houston). Recent exhibitions include Kim Foster Gallery
(New York), Texas State University, and Dougherty Arts Center. Long
is represented by McMurtrey Gallery (Houston), Conduit Gallery (Dallas),
and Plus Gallery (Denver.) He is the recipient of numerous awards and
grants, most recently a Byrdcliffe Colony/Pollack-Krasner Fellowship.
His studio will feature paintings and photographs that combine natural
elements and use of color in an abstract context. |
